A Thousand Words

This is one of those Eddie Murphy movie that I actually enjoy.

It's about a guy who was given a fate in the form of a tree. For every word he spoke, a leaf will fall. And when the the branches left with no leaf, the tree will die, and so will he. As he is connected as one with the magic tree.

A thousands words is alright. It has a message behind it. It is meant to be a comedy, but I wasn't laughing. It wasn't great, but it's pretty entertaining. To me it's just a one time show to watch.

I like the part where he went to his mom and finally say yes. He been telling his mom that he is Jack the son instead of her husband. So when he give up, his mom was so happy and began telling him things that otherwise he wouldn't know. So it was very sweet.

So for those people who like to talk a lot, who like to exaggerate things, should watch this movie. Sometimes silence is really golden. Showing is more than talking. Action speaks louder than words.

And I guess you shouldn't take life for granted. Especially if you only have a few leaves left.
