Loots from August

So with some gifts plus a few random stuff I got, this month actually give me quite a number of stuff. In a way I said I wanted to reduce my shopping or stop shopping being the operative word, I really just cant. It is too hard. I had to go to daiso and get a few stuff just to make myself happy. The power of shopping is too great that girls or anyone should never deny themselves of it.

So first a bunch of eye shadows from MUA and Elianto. Love the shadows. And the color too.
Eyeliner from online. Really love the color but hard to put on.
Brushes. Simple and no brand but luckily it's nice to use.
Partial eye lash curler from daiso and the nose pore cleanser thing. Went to bugis village and this scary salesgirl just came and made us try this and that. And it cost super expensive. But in daiso for just $2 why not? Hahaha.

Of course a nail polish. Mini but I love the color. It's £1 only.

I love my friends

I really do.

I cannot live without them. You know who you are.

Huimin went to Taiwan and she got me this really cute make up pouch. First it's the twins star. Second it has make up brush compartment. It's so lovely.
Plus she got me a box of masks. So nice right. :)

These awesome chocolates are awesome.

A Facial Day

Today last month, I went to Tangs to get facial. It was for a Payot fingertip magic facial. It was from Vanity Trove for mother's day.

It was a pain booking the date as it's pretty much full especially if you want two people together at the same time.

Nevertheless it was a good experience. The place is nice. Something you would expect from a facial haven from anywhere. Quite and calm.
It's strange as it's in a shopping mall and instead of it's own shop, it actually is just in Tangs. If you never really look for it, you will not spot it. I guess cause it's having renovation too.

They gave us ginger tea which is nice. I don't know why the ginger tea I made at home is not.

The facial itself was fab. I really like it.
The toner used is refreshing and light. I just don't like the scrub which smell like some Indonesian/Malay food.

They explain on the stuff they use and what's it's for. But it was so relaxing that I am just hmm all the way that they don't want to disturb us. Later they told us they don't want to disturb our peacefulness state of mind.

Anyway, we started changing into hotel type slippers. Then change into a robe. Lie down on the massage bed in a pretty spacious room. So we got facial and a bit of shoulder massage.

Super relaxing and awesome. I guess the price you pay is what the service get you. No hard selling luckily.

The prices is reasonable though. Worth the money as the service is awesome. So maybe if have the money can go there and pamper yourself.

At these days money talks.

What kind of guy you want

I was talking to Mami about guys and their sensitiveness, or lack thereof. I was saying how it is nice if guys just surprise you with stuff. You don't have to ask for it, they just come with gift. It will even be better if its not a special occasion.

Right now is like you have to ask for it, or said that you wanted to get it (next time, in the near future). Then, they will be nice to get it for you. But its not that special cause he know you wanted that. I rather have a random, omg what you did, are you guilty kind of gift.

Cause #1 it's random.
#2 it's special.
#3 once in a blue moon kind of thing.
#4 he actually care and think about me.
#5 he crack his brain getting me something.

Mami said that guys who shop for their gf randomly are the playboy ones. They are the flirty guys that's why they know what to get for girls. They can buy stuff cause it's what they do to get into the game. It's a tactic for them. While the idea is sweet, but you have to be wary of these kind of guys.

Guys are just not so sensitive as girls. They are not romantic in nature. The ones who are are players.

It just kind of shatter the image of prince charming. So sad.

I do want a playboy guy though.
Random gifts all the time!
Bring it on!

Gift from the US

I have to say that I wanted the Burt's Bees cuticle cream, but I got Sally Hansen instead. I had been using that for the past month when I bought it at a Watson sale. So now I have backup. It wasn't a total lost.

Thank you Kolia.

Remember Me

A movie staring Robert Parttinson. It was like 2h long. It is rated 7.1 stars in IMDB, but I really don't think much about it. It is pretty confusing, as probably I wasn't really paying attention. I needed some chick flick and/or comedy. I thought this will at least have a bit of chick flick in it. Even though people say the ending is sad. But it has none.

It is mostly revolve around a guy who is angry at the world, while being directed at the Dad for not caring for him and his sis. It is about him playing the cop's daughter, but end up falling in love with her. Typical. But it isn't fun or nice to watch. In fact I kind of feel like I wasted 2h of my life. Good thing I was painting my nails.

I wouldn't really recommend you this movie, unless you are a fan of Robert.

That's all I got to say.

A Thousand Words

This is one of those Eddie Murphy movie that I actually enjoy.

It's about a guy who was given a fate in the form of a tree. For every word he spoke, a leaf will fall. And when the the branches left with no leaf, the tree will die, and so will he. As he is connected as one with the magic tree.

A thousands words is alright. It has a message behind it. It is meant to be a comedy, but I wasn't laughing. It wasn't great, but it's pretty entertaining. To me it's just a one time show to watch.

I like the part where he went to his mom and finally say yes. He been telling his mom that he is Jack the son instead of her husband. So when he give up, his mom was so happy and began telling him things that otherwise he wouldn't know. So it was very sweet.

So for those people who like to talk a lot, who like to exaggerate things, should watch this movie. Sometimes silence is really golden. Showing is more than talking. Action speaks louder than words.

And I guess you shouldn't take life for granted. Especially if you only have a few leaves left.

The Big Five Personality test

That's what it say. But it's just a rough estimation as some of the questions are a bit hard to choose the answer to.

Hello August

I just finished a pot, ok a quarter face size pot, of corn soup leftover. For some reason I am super hungry. Should just have gone to bed. But I can't. I'm tired and sore but my mind refuse to take a rest.
And I am craving for some kfc. Or those full chicken from supermarket. Oh dear. Help me. I'm suppose to be dieting. This is a fail x10.
I'm not even fasting. If I am at least it make sense being up at 4.50am eating.
Need to be rich. Go for surgery. Control diet.
Or get a bf who is a trainer and he will train me all day long.
Sounds good actually. Hot trainer as a boyfriend who plays the drums.
Shall sleep now and ready to wake up for lunch.
P.s. This is also probably why I don't wanna get married. I will look fat. And brides are suppose to be pretty on their wedding day.
Ok random, but I just watch the decoy bride.
