To HongKong

Look at that!!
That's the view from the apartment. Cool right?

So as usual the immigration asked me lots of question. For the rest of the people, they only took a while. For me, it was forever. They scan my visa to China - hello, not related. Then they kept scanning other pages too. Then asked a whole lot of weird questions. Well, not weird, normal actually. "How long, you're staying?"
"Where will you be staying?"
"Can i see your return ticket?"
"Do you have the Singapore card?"
Well, i was warned that they're going to do that. Then again, they always do that. I was in Vietnam, and they asked weird question. I went in Phuket they thought the guy behind me was my boyfriend. Please, i am never going to sell my body in a foreign country. Not anywhere, really.

As i said to Sophie before. I am not pretty enough to be a prostitute.

Anyway, the T1 airport in Sg is so bad. Burger King closed down. There was no Starbucks or Coffee Bean. Man, i reached early and it was not crowded at all. Then i had to just walked around. I should had went in as there was all the coffee i need. Then, my gate which was D40 was open way before time. Then when i went in, i finally knew why. There was 2 long queues to get in gate D40. So many China couple who had gone through mid-life crisis. Then a few Indians, so strange. Anyway, it was full house. And i got the worse seat ever. I hate middle seat. Just my luck, that was what i had, the middle of the middle, sandwich between uncute guys. Hmph.

I can laugh!!
I was watching Sex and the City. Then it was family guy, follow by some other comedy sitcom. I was laughing at it. So strange, i do not usually laugh at those shows. Let alone find them funny. But it was not pretty cute.

Took the train from airport to Kowloon. Jeanne and Raissa was waiting for me there. It was fun taking the train. It cost HK$100 though. That was kind of expensive. So the place was like Vivo City. You can see people walking around carrying luggage. So, we walked around the shopping centre to get lunch. Spicy noodles and dim sum, but it was not spicy at all.

The service apartment is so cool. Pretty huge for HK standard. So, anyway that Sunday, we walked around to don't know where. Actually i know. We used to stay there. The hotel there i mean. I remembered the place. Cool huh?

Told Jeanne that yes we've been there before, and she was like, "Huh? Really?" Well, she did not remember at all. Haha, so cool. I remembered all the places. The expensive place which is like Paragon, remembered that too. Honestly, i just don't know there name. So, yah, we just walked around. H&M is just H&M. Cheap, i guessed, but not really. I looked damn good in a Jason Mraz style hat. Should i buy it?

Then, there was the mini stores that sell all the teenagers stuff. It was like Far East. Only most of the shops are like Q-box. Then there was one that sell HK$175 colour contact for 1 year. Oh man, now without contacts, suddenly all the cute stuff uses contacts. I wanna get blue contacts and dye my hair blue.

Watched Bride wars with Pat on Saturday. Went home at like around 2am. Haven't packed, so obviously i never sleep. Since i had to wake up early for the flight. But cause of that, i wanted blue hair. I wanna be a Smurfs.

So we talked. And i asked what is the HK traditional food. They laughed and said, "Curry fish balls, lao puo ping, ..."
I was liked, "Oh Sg also has that!"
"Oh? Really?"
Wow, i didn't know they were surprised. Apparently Jeanne does not know lao puo ping or the whatever else she talked about exist at first.

Then, they showed me the bar, basically the place that chill out in. It was like Clarke Quey. Except the place was on a hill. So it was like up side down U-shape kind of road and surround it was filled with bars. They said at night, then the roads will be filled with people.

We ate some pizza with beers. Rais as usual just order the beer. Even though she was underage. There was the sign that they only sell it to above 18. I am sure he had his doubt, but the place was empty, so he will surely just sell it to us. The pizza is weird. No tomato, a little of the tomato paste on it. I like it that way. It is much better than normal pizza. But still kind of weird.

So, moral of the story, just order like as if you are overage. If get caught, well, i don't know what to do. But if you can not order, then let those who can order and steal it from them. But i got a cider instead of beer. As usual it's nice, but i prefer cold beer. Much more refreshing and less high maintenance. Haha, that's a first right?

The area in a corner was filled with mixed Thai food. Like Thai-Viet, Thai-Malaysia, Indian, etc food. When we just walked in only, they straight away pull you to them and ask you to look at the menu. Normal business stuff, but it can so get on your nerve, you know. So, the 3 Indian guys was just pushing their luck. So irritating. They flirted and told you how pretty you look and stuff. Jeanne said the first time they came there, Raissa screamed. Haha, good for her. So cute.

Then when we went back home, we walked around the Victoria Harbour. The again, got creepy Indian sort of guy asked us out. Me and Rais went into a coffee shop to ignore him. Then we went out again with a small cake for Jeanne's birthday. Again we met the guy. He followed us around. Kept asking for our number. Well, i do not lie when i said i do not have a number. I am not from HK. His 2 friends was just in front of him, laughing and trying to see how far he go. Or just waiting and seeing how silly he is. But, too bad. I mean if he choose other girls, i am sure he had a better chance.

We are so looking for native people. Or maybe mixed. Yes, mixed will be good.

Bought cuttlefish, which originated from Korea which cost HK$20. That is just ex for a piece of squid, but it taste so good. I want more. Yup, i should buy more.

Monday, just stayed home. Rest, catch up, whatever. Ate on-called Chinese food for dinner. No wonder, these people can't stop eating. The food here is just way nicer. Plus the weather is to die for. It is still kind of winter, so it is cold. Especially at night. Windy. Nice.

The apartment is like a hotel. I think it used to be a hotel. Since it was all carpeted and has air-con like in the hotels. Plus, all the doors has sign that said "Suite A***"

The air is colder on the pathway to the lobby, then outside. Especially the laundry room. Tiany always said, "went down to the laundry room." I thought it was really an apartment which is normal flats. But it is not. It is really like a hotel. When you're inside, you have to walk the corridors, to get to your door. And the laundry place is on our floor. So, that was another communication at fault.

Our neighbours, lots of models. But mostly they stay like for a while. However, until now, still do not see one. Only the females. The rich and glamorous. Just whoa!

Today, right now, just waiting for them to finish school so we can go to Tsim Sat Tsui to eat mango desert. The last time we went there, the place was so crowded. Oh Tsim Sat Tsui, was where we used to stay. A place to walked around. Like Orchard road.

Oh well, i had to wait and prepare myself for a long walk to the MTR.

Hongkong was like a 2nd home, and now it is kind of, for everyone. Oh, Reyner can take the MTR by himself to go home. That is impressive.

The things that change around here:
  1. The people. It was like now, there are just many tourists around. But they feel belong. Like foreigners working here.
  2. Last time it is hard to speak Chinese to them. Now, English is alright. Sort of.
  3. Many other races around.

I know that is like all about the people living here. But it's true. It is just different. I don't know. Jeanne said it's not. But i just feel that it is different. Plus the fact their fashion is being copied in Sg. While they copy from Japan. In poly, you can see some of these fashion. So, it is still cool seeing it here, but not unique anymore.

The only thing is, if you wear all those funny clothing, you look normal here. In Sg, you'll stand out. It depend on how well you can dress. If well, then you just look really great. If not, you'll look pathetic Japanese-wanna-be.

But yes, i am going to copy some fashion and style back to Sg. But you know me. I'm really good at editing and making it MY OWN. In a week after i do that, you'll see, everyone will start wearing it too.

Haha, gotta love me.
