What I buy this month

A few days back I was so happy and proud that I did not buy anything this month. Well I did buy my make up on sale obviously. But I was expecting it to come in March or late February. Anyway it came today.

Plus the CG polishes I bought last month also came this month. At first I was so happy with the colors and in the end I got bored with it. 5/6 is sheer so it wasn't fun. The one isn't sheer, raspberry festival, is almost identical to hot lava love. In fact it's the same base just that raspberry festival has a micro glitter finish. The other more satin. But it's more gorgeous than the satin so I'm happy with that.
Oh I had to buy 6 cause shipping come in 3. So it's cheaper this way or so I tell myself.

I also buy clothes for cny apparently. Well for school. But I only will wear them after cny. Then I also buy shoes since my daily one is spoil.

I really shouldn't be shopping so much but I can't help myself. I'm an addict. If I don't shop, I eat chocolate. It's bad! Next month probably have more shopping.

Oh Legolas!

Good news for me. Haha. I thought there won't be any Legolas in the hobbit trilogy. Since there was no Legolas in the first one. But now. Hehe. I'm in love all over again. So happy.

Rock of Ages

I’ve recently watch 2 musical movie. And no, one of them is not Les Miserables. I watch Rock of Ages and Pitch Perfect. Alright it is not exactly musical, well the rock of ages kinda is. They just kept singing.

So, the movie is bout a girl moving to LA to get a break in singing. She met a guy who works in a bar and helped her get a job as a waitress.

He got his big break and he thought she cheated on him with some rock star and she quit her job and be a waitress at some strip club.

Every time they talk or think, they will sing. And the songs are mash up and familiar. You will know the songs and feel nostalgic. Well, sometimes. It is just that the songs are songs you know. It is familiar. You can sing a long.

The movie is 2h long. So it is long. The story line is very standard. Typical and you can guess what is going to happen next. So you do not watch for the story. You want for the songs. It is just for easy watching/listening. Too long, but it is nice to listen and know. Cause you will be like, hey I know this song. It is a nice feeling to have.
Plus the movie consists of lots of actors you know. Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin(30 Rock), Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones, just to name a few.

So, it wasn’t as bad as people say. Lengthy and predictable but its just a movie you do not have to think too much. Just to watch for the soundtrack. For the music of the 80s.

P.s. Why in movie the Hollywood sign is such a popular place to go on a date? It is like they always bring their girls there and it always seem empty. Isn’t great place suppose to be filled with people. Cause all guys will think that it is such a great place.
Not just talking bout this movie or the Hollywood sign in general, but more of any place actually.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

This movie is 169min long. So, it is pretty worth to watch in cinema. As ticket cost $11. This movie is the prequels to Jackson's The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. The story line is about Bilbo Baggins with a group of Dwarves who wanted to reclaim their stolen mountain home from a dragon named Smaug.

The movie introduce a lot of characters. Like hobbit, wizards, dwarves, elves, goblins, trolls, etc. Pretty random, pretty out of place. Like every scene will bring a new type of creature.

If you love LOTR, then you’ll love this movie. Maybe some of you may find it boring, or too long. But I do love it. I love the story, I love how it brings the same person as the same character. I love how it introduce the ring. I also then know about the 5 wizards, which I don’t think matter very much except for the white and the grey. It tells you bout Gandalf the grey. As in the LOTR, he died and became the white. The Brown also was the one who discovered the ghost.

13 dwarves lead by their prince Thorin, Gandalf and Master Baggines went for a dangerous journey which the title say it all. I felt it was more about dwarves than the actual hobbit. Even though it is bout him, but ya it is just focus on the dwarves getting back their home.

I am just going to talk more bout what I think. I watched the movie after hearing people said that it is boring. So I never expect much. I just thought it was going to be draggy. Which sure at some part, when they finally saw the mountain and the dragon sleeping in the pile of gold. Oh glorious gold. I love that part. Anyway, I thought we were just at one and half hour of the movie. End up it was over and 2h more had past. So it was quite cool. I never thought it will be “pretty fast”.

I thought they gonna kill off half the dwarves when the rock crush on them. So ya, its pretty cool they did not. Even though 15 characters is kind of a lot. Lots of quirky moment, funny jokes like: “He won the battle and invented the game of golf at the same time.” The part where Saruman said bout the brown wizard eating too much mushroom.

I guess the hobbit is not for everyone, but if you love simple humor and want to know what happen before LOTR. 60 years ago to be exact, then you can watch it.
