Do you want to know what's in my makeup bag? Of course not. But I'll share it anyway. You can choose not to read them.
First up is my tiny Essence makeup pouch. This is something I will bring if I don't intend to go out and touch up very often. I will bring a bag, a good size handbag so this tiny pouch will be the perfect makeup size bag.
Inside there will always be a hair tie, tweezer and brow comb. Always. I can't live without them. Then I have ZA bolting powder which is cute and small but lacks a mirror. A travel size retractable Dior blush brush and theBalm hot mama blush. It's tiny too. Another tiny one is the Lip Ice sample lip balm. Can't live without lip balms too. Lastly I have my ZA pure shine lips in red coral. It's the perfect hybrid of lipstick and gloss. Usually I will throw in a mirror and a comb but I forgot.
This is a bigger makeup bag. You can tell it's the Victoria's Secret pencilbox-like bag. Got it for my birthday from my uni SCM pals and they will not know I use it cause they don't read this blog. So I will bring this when I have bigger space in my handbag. Or when I need more stuff just in case kind of moment. I will survive a sleepover if I were to just have this. Well I need toothbrush and toothpaste too.
Hair tie, tweezer and lash comb is there. I have multiple of those items. Ah, the comb is transferred into this bag. I also have a single makeup remover wipe. I need more samples like this. Singles are awesome. Unlike the travel one which comes in 10. I have a solid perfume which comes in duo, and I gave one to Sophie for her birthday last year. That will be last last year. It was so useful to have that especially if you go out drinking a lot.
I have my Oriental Princess concealer. I can don't use foundation but concealer is quite handy to have around. A Sephora retractable brush which I convince myself I need. A small blush from MUA. A tiny hand sanitizer, love that, expensive though, but I need more and it smells like peppermint. Oh a fake travelo that is filled with TBS body spray from Kalai. Love the scent, that's why I bring it everywhere. A lip balm and Revlon powder that comes with a mirror so that's good.
Last will be my traveling makeup bag or just when I go over to people house for a simple makeup or touch up. The makeup bag is from Huimin. The little twin stars, love them the most. The black pouch is a traveling makeup brushes set from that darling too.
I have of course hair tie, tweezer and brow comb. In fact I think I need another mini traveling one. I throw in a comb with a mirror, hand sanitizer, Daiso brand half lash curler and Ecotools mini kabuki brush. There's my NYX eyebrow cake powder in brunette. It's really good and the brush inside it's quite decent. I will bring eyeshadow palette whichever I feel like using. For mascara, for now I'm using the Rocket so it will be that. I usually bring waterproof or easy, won't smudge kind of mascara. I can't bother with messy. For face, I will bring a mini bb cream from Skin79. But anything actually is fine, like a foundation. Concealer is a must. The Rimmel one is by far the less messy one of my stash so I will bring that. It's creamy and brightening. Setting powder will be Laura Mercier foundation powder. I will bring my HG YSL bronzer. That baby will help make your face has this healthy glow. It's like you been out and the sun kiss your face tenderly. It's beautiful plus it darken any face, oh so lightly, just incase the foundation, bb cream or powder is too light. For blush, currently I'm loving MAC pro longwear blush in whole lotta love which is a gift from Rae. But blush usually depend on what I want to use.
I only started using setting spray but I absolutely love it. It makes your face looks flawless, not cakey and helps control the shine too. Using the sample size which I bought from samplestore.com but I did made my own DIY too.
Then I will bring a whole bunch of lipsticks and a balm. Cause you just never know what you feel like wearing. Lastly I have my dry shampoo from Batiste. I really like the original and I really like the travel size. Why must it be so expensive? Dry shampoo is good for giving volume, reducing shine and giving your hair a lovely scent.
These stuff will be in my handbag. And inside my bag usually I will have tissue, wet tissue, lip balm, lipstick, hand cream, bolting sheets and hand sanitizer. But not always all of them are present at any one time. So ya. That is what in my makeup bag or bags.
Oh I forgot. I usually will throw in some emergency stuff too like band-aids. You never know when you got lucky. Better be prepared.
You can't really depend on the guy sometimes.
Yea lucky has a lot of meaning underlying it.
