May Buys

I curled my hair like ages ago. Finally got a Curl Refining Essence. The one i had since forever is a wax for holding curl, which is awesome but this one is not waxy, so its a gel, but doesn't give you that 'hard' hair. I don't know how to explain it. Made in Korea, and smell super nice, but you can only use it on dry hair.

I also got my most use item - lip balm. Smackers! Still love it, since one semester is gone, so i need a new lip balm. My old one is finishing. So now i have two. One for the table one for the bag. One berry and one raspberry. The only different between this and my cookie dough, is that this has a bit of color. Pink to be exact. Cookie dough is more clear.

I also bought Eucerin cover stick for concealer. Jeanne got it. So did T. It is nice as it is a stick, so it is easy to use and it really did its job. My ZA concealer left a bit, so hopefully this will cover it. Well, it should be as the price is twice as the latter. It is just so much easier to use than any other things i have right now.

R got me my eos Lip Balm in Sweet Mint. Heard so much bout it. Its only natural that i want it. After so much consideration, i found the cheap one at G-market. Having no credit card, its an excuse. But heck, he should invest in things i like. Why? Cause I'm happy, that's all that matter. Plus don't guys want to kiss girls with soft lips? So, INVEST!
I just cant stop putting this on my lips. I am obsessed. I read a review and this one girl said that she cant stop using it. I know the feeling, so cant I. Also another one say, that its so cute that she just love to see it on her desk. Yes, its cute. Plus the color match my phone casing.
The flavor remind me of LUSH Mint Julips Lip Scrub. And i have that, so its like a double power thing. Just like using the same scent of shampoo and conditioner or body lotion and perfume. The only downside to this is that the mint could be stronger. I love mint.

Went to expo, was looking for Revlon lip butter, but there was no Revlon. But went to buy a few things. Manicare stuff was 3 for $5. Plus Maybelline mascara. It was the one everyone love. I don't know if it was the right one. I don't remember it was purple. But i guess they change the packaging. But was not as thick as the ZA one I'm using now, so i guess its good for daily and school. Not that thick, but i wish it will spread out more.
Some days when you feel like using thicker mascara, you will just keep applying and applying, but with this, it doesn't get thick.

Bought eyebrow brush and concealer brush.
ZA stuffs its a must as it is 20% + 20%. So, its a good deal. Love expo, as long as someone go with me. With car, even better. Pay for me, that's the best. Plus no crowd, so wee~

HK Sim card

We are using people's. So go 7-11 buy the top up card. People tourist one I think. It's cheaper for use to call oversea. I tried finishing the value by calling Singapore but it never finish.

Call *103# for data plan. 1day, 7 days - hk$38, 30 days - hk$75. Or something like that.

Don't forget to set up the APN setting on iPhone and blackberry.

I should have taken the bus which only cost HK$33. Instead of airport express HK$100. They said the mtr to central will be waived but i am not sure. Take bus, bust go to Hung Hom. Airport express, must go to tst, then go central to transfer. Troublesome.


Oh well, it was the past. If there is other chance to actually go at least now we know.

Look out the window

So there was a camera crew and what not outside. The view from my room is just nice showing the action happening. Anyway its pretty boring. Take forever for some movement down there. They keep taking the same scene over and over again. A lot of people were involve. Surprisingly. I don't know who act, or what cause its about cars. I don't know if it is a show or a movie.
There are people that stop the traffic. From both side of the roads. So basically, the cars in that show are all planned out. Just make me wonder how does the Hollywood people do it, when their cast is huge. No wonder movies cost a lot of movie. Oh well, i am just going to stare out the window for now.
This is not the first time i saw shooting a show in HK.

As always life goes on. A new girl came into his life. She told him that she knew he been hurt, but she will be there for him. He take a chance to fall in love again.

Waitress

Dear Baby,

So i watched the Waitress. Surprisingly i was so caught up in the movie. It was a good movie. It's about a girl Jenna who married some horrible guy. Well later you will know she married a guy who after marriage change. So poor her. She was saving money to run away. Then she got pregnant. Her husband made her drunk. She went to the doctor and end up having an affair with him. The doc is the guy who play Castle.

It was kind of irritating that she did not just run away or have a divorce. But it is kind of impossible i guess.

She never have any affection for the baby in her tummy. She never tried to harm it or anything. She eat healthy and stuff. But when the baby is born she was so in love that she finally told her husband she wanted a divorce.

And in work, the owner was some old man. She was very nice to him. She was the only one who actually like the old man. And in the end she got a check from him. If i never see it wrongly it was two hundred seventy thousand dollars. That's a lot of money.
Moral of story: always treat an old person nicely. You never know what they will leave behind for you.

The story was about a pie shop diner. A woman who loves to make pie. Make me feels like having pies right now. If only.

There was this part where the doc hold her and she was telling the diary it was so nice to have someone holding you. Just holding.

• Hold you for 20 minuter straight. 
• Wrap you up in their arm without an ounce of selfishness to it.

20 minutes hugs. 20 minutes goodbyes. Remind me of that.

A Star is Born 1954

So there were three version of this movie. The one i watched was the one in 1954. The movie was 3 hours long. Yup that long.

It was a show within a show. 
Pretty normal of like a girl rising into fame, marry the guy who makes her famous, and the guy lost his job and commit suicide in the end. So yah, pretty standard storyline in today context.

Lots of songs as Esther Blodgett was found by Norman Maine singing a song. So it was all about the music. The songs and dance the etc. I like the part where they just show photographs with background speech, makes it more real, like a documentary.

I love the part where he propose to her and she said no, thank you. He asked why not she reasoned. He said stuff, she said he wouldn't be Norman Maine if he does that. Then asked if he really go do all that for her if they got married and he say no, then "that's too much public a proposal to me to say no to, i accept."

The news and paparazzi are told bout them about to get married and stuff. See, no such thing such a nice thing.

It was great that she did not give up. So, its something to learn there. Never give up. And when a star rises another fall. It is quite true isn't it? Like no two person can take the fame.

West Side Story 1961

So, after so long, i finally decided to finish watching West Side Story. It was kind of boring at first, cause everyone looks like plastic. Anyway, there was a lot of mention of the story line. So i roughly get the gish of it. As the story unfold, i discovered how awesome the dancing are. Particularly love the Sharks girls dance in "America".

Songs like "i feel pretty", "tonight quintet" and "somewhere" you heard it all over movies and tvs, but i finally know where its from. So its like cool, a lot of songs are familiar.

Then the one thing i don't get is, the guy you love kill your brother and you still choose him. Seriously, what is wrong with you?
But i guess its a 1960s movie, so its about prejudice-ism and true love. It's pretty romantic if you minus off that stupid part. And its like so cliche where the part Tony kept trying to kiss Maria but always cant.
Then of course the ending must be super dramatic. Haha.
Poor girl, had to slept with a guy who ends up dead moment later.

It is an old movie, so i say just enjoy the songs and dancing and learn not to hate anybody. Peace.

Whats in my fridge?

If I have one that is.

Since I don't, I put an altogether view of what my fridge will be like.

I will have frozen food. Lots of it. Easy, microwaveable and ready to eat. Lots of ice cream. Desserts and chocolates. Sausage and bacon is a must. Especially cheese sausage.
Then I will have a selection of cheese, ham, smoked salmon ready to eat stuff. Eggs, butter, yogurt and yakult, A few cans of red bull for emergency. Maybe Nescafe too. Sweets and chocolates. Guacamole dips. Milo in can and packet and some OJ plus soy milk/milk, bliss yogurt drinks(guava, strawberry and mango). Definitely will have condense milk and chocolate sprinkle. Green tea, coke, coke light and coke zero. Maybe some other can drinks too. Wines and Bailey. A whole shelf of sparkling water!
In the fresh compartment thing, will have strawberry, wine grape and mango and guava and such. Then the other one will be filled with veggies for salad.

Most important: sparkling water.
