Xmas trip to Phuket

1st day of Phuket trip. Well, we hardly did anything. The sun was blasting hot. 50SPF of sunscreen is not enough. We just waited for Rey, Rais and Jeanne to came. Our hotel is not much like a hotel. Oh well, the video will show it all. Videos are under left hand page navigation under videos. So anyway, ate Thai food, walk a bit, and that's about it. Until nightfall. Cept Ica was planning activities for us to do for the next few days.

2nd day, we went for paintball. The red vs green team.
The red: me, Ica, Jeanne, Rach, Budi
The green: T, Han, Yog, Rai, Rey
See, it's a given who will win. But nah, the red won. 7-2. Haha, the game lasted for such a short period of time, but oh well. It was kinna fun.
Then we went back home and go for a swim at the beach. Played Frisbee.Got stunk by don't know small microscopic creature in the water. Pain all around. T said that the creature is super small and white. If you really strain your eyes you can see it. Then after, you check your bitten hands, you'll see tiny red spots. Dry blood. So creeps.
Ate Xmas dinner at the Buffalo steak house. We all shared food and drank red white. House pour, and it sux. Went back room and slept. While the others stay up and watched firework.

3rd day, Xmas day!
We went white water rafting. Fun! But not scary. Not must adventure. There was a part where i almost fall. My raft consist of T, Rais, me and Rey. And we all purposely sit as far away from the centre as possible. And true enough i almost back into the water. Haha, fun. Then the person in charge push me back up. I think seeing us all just teenagers, so the 2 person in charge kind of purposely make our boat super jumpy and scary. But it's not even scary. Maybe when we travel backwards. I guessed that was fun, coz we cannot see the rocks and hard edges, so anything can happened. When the boat suddenly rocked and jumped, we were shocked too with excitement.
Rais got pulled out of the raft and fell into the river. Haha, tried to do it to the rest of us, but failed. Hehe, the water was cold and they kept splashing it at us. Reminded me of dragon boating with friends.
The best part was the last. They purposely made us alight the raft not at the side of the exit, but in the middle of the water. Not the river, more at the bank, but still.. It's far away from the exit. If you watch the video carefully, in the background, at the left hand side, there will be us, falling on our ass and laughing. It was so fun. The river is not deep, but the bottom was filled with rocks and stones and pebbles and don't know what else. Small and big, it was so hard to get across. We had to held on to each other, and that we still fell. Fell back or face in first, whatever, we still fell. We still had a laugh.
The video man guy should have zoom in on us, coz that is when all the action and fun begin.
Then we see elephants. We learnt that there are 2 types of elephants. Males and females. Asian and African. For Asian, their ears are much smaller. And only the males have tusks. Then, we had Luckyboy as he is the only male elephant around and Ladyboy as (s)he is neither a male or female. Lol. Oh well, they 2 performed for us.
At night, we rest have massage for $10/hour. A super cheap rate. Since the hotel charge 40.

26th we went to phi phi island. This time we do not have to change form a mini bus to big bus. Only when we reached there, we were assigned to our group. We were in group family of 4. Our tour guide, i don't remember her name, she kept saying that we are her brother and sister. Then she will be saying the same thing bout the monkeys. So she is saying that we are monkeys.
Oh well, the speedboat ride was fun. Me and Rais, we sat out. The sun hot but the wind so cool, it made up for it. Only when the speedboat slow down, there is not much wind, then i can feel the sun ray. Either than that, bumpy boat rides, here i go.
The island is so nice, blue sea, clear sky. Snorkeling fun. Scary but fun. Too bad no one took a video of me in the water, or at least a picture. Oh well. It was so scary. Fishes nearby. I had to move my legs and hands to make sure the fish did not come near by, but they still did. Then we go again, to an island. There where we buried Hannes alive. Then time for lunch, sadly it was raining. The lunch place did not have a rain plan. So like the place is so dirty and just plain ew. Hardly ate, in the end we just sit in the boat and ate snacks. We bought like a lot of them and brought it with us. We finished in like 30 minutes. So crap.
Then, we went to Egg island. There we were supposed to snorkel for 2 hours. But it rained and stopped, it is just weird. Well, the beach was ok. The fishes alot. First i just went into the water without knowing there are fishes near by. Water only up to your knee, suddenly a school of fish just swam across. Then they just go around people. Damn creepy. So many fish. And even though the water is not clear, we still can see the fish super clear. They said the fish will not dare to go near you. Unless you feed them. So i avoid the crowd where the brought bread for the fishes. But still the fish swim all around. You are suppose to move around, so the fish will not go to you, ya right. When they go nearer i use my legs and hands to drive them away. Instead of swimming away in a direction, they swam in all direction and swam to me. I even felt them brushing through my leg. Oh damn, what a nightmare.
Quickly went out of the sea. But still in water, until ankle high there. There was like the tiny fish around which i would not even noticed if not for Budi. So, the smallest of fish are near the edge of the water. The bigger ones, a size a big as your hand are around the knee deep water. And the corals are deeper. But i don't dare to go in. At first they said just go in further less fish. Then Rais said, don't go in. The fish will bite you. I am not afraid of the bite. But in order for them to bite you is for them to go near you. EEee, creeps.
For Jeanne, a fish swam in front of her eyes. Only when the fish get closer to her, then she can see it. Then both of them was shocked. And the fish swam away scared. Lol. So cute.
For Reyner, he got scolding for scaring the fish away from a little girl.
Hannes saw angelfish. Dory fish. And Er.
Well, i am ready for clown fish and jellyfish, and even dory. Maybe turtle and starfish. But we do not have that, and it just freak me out. The fish are huge. But oh well. My leg is filled with brushes. Blue black and red spots everywhere. It hurts too.

If only the whole experience is us being with other people in other boat. Like for example family of 2 maybe. A bunch of hot cutie are there. One of the boys even remind us of Jacob from Twilight. Oh, hot. And they are our age, sort of. So put a bunch of kids together, we will definitely have a lot of fun.
Btw, it was the tsunami anniversary, that is why the tour guide said the God is crying. So we cannot be mad that our perfect day get cancel due to bad weather, but the rain kind of stop a while and in the end, so it was not that bad. Cept of coz we already changed into clean dry clothes when the sun came out again. Crap, next time i should not listen to other people, when my gut feeling tell me not to change.

At night. It's party time. It was our last night at Phuket. So we girls decided to go shopping. Well, usually i tried a few pair of sunglasses and most will fit me, and i can just buy them away. But this time, i tried almost everything, a lot looks good, but don't have the perfect one. So end up not buying, when among all of us, i am the one who need sunglasses the most. That's about it. Only have time to buy sunglasses. Kind of stupid huh. But oh well. Then, me and Rias we bought breezers. Damn that thing is nice. I love the lime flavour. And the lychee. Lemon, not so nice. It tasted exactly like minutemade thingie. Each bottle cost $2. So cheap right.
So back at our room, with Thailand pancakes and booze, we chat the night away.

Pancakes are the only food we got to eat. Other than that nothing. We never drink Thai iced tea, never eat the Thai glutton rice with mango. Not much traditional food. Pity. It is more of a trip to a beach. Oh well. The whole thing is kind of fun. Tried new things and we managed to catch up. It was all worth it.

Last day it was a wasted day, but oh well. There was hardly anthing we can do. And Ica forgot her phone on the plane. But lucky it was found by whoever. And she got it back. Then, on 29, off the go to Hongkong.

School is starting. :(

Mischa Birthday

It's Mischa Birthday on Sunday. She's 2. I cant believe it. It seems like forever that she became 2. But oh well, she's only 2. Her cake is pre-order. Lol. Coz the family, 3 of them can like eat half the original cake. So we order bigger one. Like whoa. I mean already we are missing a few members. Like there is no Tiany. Ok, that's all. But Kelly alone already eat 3 pieces.

See, the nasi tumpeng. Hehe. And the number of person present. Yogi taking the photo, and Hannes not home yet. See, it is so little. Comparing to our normal family function.
You know i hate to admit it, but suck without Tiany. Coz the secretary knows a lot of stuff. She knows where are all the stuff being put.


I'm using this photo above to blackmail the guys. Haha. Hannes just came home, so i told him to take photo. He don't want, but in the end eneng ask him, and so he go. Haha, rarely get picture of the guys. So this is a treasure. Lol.
Oh. Found out Yogi phone is so fantastic. Can take like a lot of picture with cute frames. Then have the function of 3x3 or 2x2 or sth. So fun. Once i get the pictures, i blog it up.

Great Firework

I HATE MYSELF!!

SEE THE FIREWORK? That's taken from Mich camera. I was closer to the firework. And i just so happened to take the best picture of the best firework ever. So crystal clear and everything. But i accidentally deleted it. I am so stupid. Gosh! Don't mean to brag or anything, but my hp is not exactly a top camera. It is only 2 mega. BUT it just so happen that the picture was so perfect. Why must i be so careless as to delete it. Man. That was the 2nd best shot taken from camera. One was being Reyner almost falling into the pool.

I almost cry if it's for the anger i cause myself.

Anyway, here what happened. It was thanksgiving dinner. Well that is what i called it. Reservation was booked for 16 people at Marche at 7. Haha, but knowing the kind of person we are, we were late as always.
Actually i was early. At 645 i left Forever21. Stupid Vivo had a musical, so the 3rd floor was close. So we had to go down to 2nd and go through another escalator. Then we made a wrong turn. And ended up at the other side of Vivo. Walked walked walked, we reached the center so we had to go down again.
We were late and they said once you are late for 15 minutes, your reservation is cancel. What the heck. They never even call me. So crap.

Oh well, me and Mich, we rushed down to find another restaurant. We practically ran around Vivo searching for one. Hello we had 14 people, but how are we going to get place. Then we say The Mussel Guys. There was no queue, so sad. But that is our only choice. So i asked for table of 14. She was kinna shocked, but she asked her team to pull it out for us. So they were kind enough to set up table for us. Then again, i think they need people.

The food was ok. Cheap too. Caused we just order set meal.

Then, they made us pay early.

But it was because Vivo was having their anniversary. So we got a front seats. I mean a first class view of the firework. Amazing or what?

It was so cool.

People inside the restaurant was coming out, but they have to stand. Only us had seats. People on the 3rd floor all were waiting from ages ago. They had to stand too. And the other side of the restaurant, people had to come out and all crowded at one side just to see them. Haha, they must be so jealous of us. We were not cramp and we have seats. Some more it was so close. See the picture above, the firework got shoot out from that boat.

Ok, at first we kinda complain that we do not the restaurant. And it was so hot to sit outside, but in the end it was all worth it. We had fun, i guessed.

But in the end, it was all just about the - FIREWORK.

Halloween BBQ

Honestly, when i saw the photos, i smile. I never really seen me so happy and cheerful. It is so unlike me. But hey, it is my face in the yellow dress. Hehe. I just cannot believe it. I am smiling and having fun! Yay!

The day started out fine. It was so hot to walk to bus stop. But i managed.
Then daddy drove me and Yogi to get the food. Oh my, they took forever to get them. By the time we reached East Coast, it was already 5.45?
Then Bingxun and Weiloong was not there to help out. Actually it was the job of Jinghao and Ivan. Well, they 2 had school. It was so frustrating. Everyone had school. I had no help. But, oh well. We managed in the end. At least Bingxun and Weiloong were free. And Bingxun had the decorations. Which was really great. People would passed by our pit, then they would point to the skeleton and beamed. They would say something like, "see there, that's cute."
Haha, i am so proud of our deco.
Yogi friend, Kelvin and erm, some Korean guy, his picture is there, the one with the black shirt with the word 'CUT', helped to carry the food to the pit. Oh i got cheated. I did not get the tower. But, oh well.
Soon, Bx and Wl came. And i asked them to put up the deco and start the fire. While me and Mich went to PP to buy some more food. Oh, i met Mich in BBQWholesale. She came with her classmate, but she left with me. Hehe. So we went PP, met with Ivan. Bought Oreo bubble tea, which ruin my dress. Yah, but no time to worry about pretty dresses.

Bought candies, wanted $50 worth of it, but Ivan being the big brother he is, stopped me. So we only spent $22+ on them, but including the lollipops i got earlier, yah, it cost $40. Plus the candies others brought along, i presumed it was 60 bucks worth of candies. Hehe, diabetes much?
Walked to NTUC, met with others. A lot others. Chris brought 2 friends, which i could not remember their names. Anyway, yay to him. He was the only one who brought friends that i do not know.
So in the supermarket, the guys got drinks, while the girls, me, Mich and Sab got more food!
Then in the end, we decided the guys are too slow. So we showed them boys how girls shop. Hehe. So fun! I just go around each isle and put stuff in the trolley.
I mean in the end, the guys are the one who going to carry them anyway. So why not?

We took too long in PP. When we reached the fire just started. And nothing is done. So i organised everything into proper order. Well that's me. Neat and tidy. I boast everyone around. So fun! Basically, they listened. That's the surprising part.
People came, people got bored. Yes, people was bored. There was no cooked food. But people were sweet enough to bbq the food. Then the big bowl of candies were there. So, they came and they ate candies. I hold the halloween basket giving arrival guest candies. Then of course asked them to pay. Haha.
Since everyone was so busy in their own little party, i asked the mere boys of Chenxiang and Chai to help out with the accounting. Or should i say cashier, since they collect money. Anyway, Chenxiang past the treasuring to Chai. Which Yogi later advised me not to give to Chai such a responsible job as he can be a bit blur. Haha. So cute. But he did a good job. In fact both did a good job. Chenxiang helped out too. Even though he said he got something on, but he stayed for the bbq anyway. And for the speaker. That was super great!
The only regret was that i could not cut myself into pieces and hang out with everyone. I did not have time to hang out with everyone. So sad!
Plus time management kind of bad. So people came and felt hungry. But yesh, learnt a new lesson! Hehe.

The party is kind of divided. The drawfs were not there yet. So the majority were at the pit. My sem 1 sat at one table on the left. The others sat on the right. It was kind of far away. Then my sem 2 also just dissapeared. Hehe. I'm sure they had stuff to amused themselves with.
My drawfs came, then they just as per normal. Hang with their ownself. I guessed when you hardly see your friends, when there is a gathering, you want to hang out with them first. That was what happened to me. By the time they ready to make new friends, it was late, and some left.

As the time past, some people had to go. I was so touched that they came in the first place. Thanks guys. Even though you only stay for a while.
Then, ok, i know i am bad, but when people started leaving, only left a few behind, it was much more fun. I did not have to divide myself up. Coz everyone just hang with everyone.
I danced with Vicky. William even joined to learn the basic steps. Hehe. And i danced for Vicky. Then, we danced and danced and danced. Haha.
William tried to make me drunk. he gave me a drink and ask me to bottom up. Oh hell. That one glass made me go all whooos. Hehe. Not much effect, but i need to be careful.
Too bad Sop had to go home early. But yah, there was no more alcohol. I only got to drink a glass. Pohleong got drunk though. Hehe. So cute. Good thing, Kokwee was there to bring him home.

So the BBQ was filled with laughter, jokes, insults, games, catching up, uncooked food and Fun! Oh and dance! People played true or dare, double dare, card games and don't know what. I was just too much a coward to play them, cept for card game. Haha. I wasn't that high. But also not the shy me.
I was pretty overwhelmed. But i wouldn't trade this experience for any other.

We had cognitive on Tuesday. Our faci made us write a paragraph on a person we randomly pick. My person is Angel. So i had to write a paragraph for my classmates to guess that i am writing about Angel. The catch is you are suppose to write using metaphors. Easy enough, but honestly, it is kind of hard to think of metaphors during that moment.
Anyway, this is my short para:

See, fallen from the sky, you can already guess something holy and stuff. Isn't obvious is an Angel. But faci said people take a while to guess. I was like, huh? The first sentence should be the biggest clue.

Then, during presentation, the 1st group. The person they describe is me. The quiet shy person. Taufiq, kept guessing is me. As the person in question is like a mouse.
Then the 2nd person, is also like me. Quiet shy and like a mouse. I was like wow, they kept getting the quiet type. And dud people in class all guess me. But it's not. The first person is Shafiqah and the second is Guorui.
Turn one who had to write about me is Raj. When he showed his paragraph, i have a feeling is me. Because whoever he describe is not someone that can be found in class. But Raj went to the bbq, so he knew another side of me. At least that little side of me. Oh well, this is what he write:
